Why choose TubePile

Strategic sourcing, certified to international standards

We select our partners on dimensions, steel grade, coating, welding works and fabrication capability, requiring compliance with applicable standards.

01 · STANDARDS

Built to code

Production adheres to EN 10219-1, EN 10219-2, ASTM A 252, API 2B, API 5L or client specifications, ensuring the product meets project requirements.

02 · CORROSION PROTECTION

Engineered for the marine environment

Coatings rated to ISO 12944 Class C5 (onshore), Class CX (offshore), Cl. IM2 (immersed) or Cl. IM4 with cathodic protection — guarding against salinity, UV, tides and fouling, with a 7 to 25+ year life expectancy.

03 · ON-SITE PRODUCTION

On-site production — manufacture at the worksite

A mobile mill produces spiral-welded piles on site, with the option to weld interlocks for combi-walls — reducing transport costs, with optimised over-lengths and import duties.

Quality & Certification

Independently verified — every stage documented and audited by third parties

On request, mill quality documents are attested by accredited bodies such as:

Bureau Veritas (BV) Lloyd's Register SGS TÜV

Documentation of procedures, work methods and weld qualification, together with material (or mill) certificate compliance, benefit from rigorous traceability, are documented and, on request, audited and certified by accredited bodies.

  • Non-destructive testing: visual, dimensional, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and X-ray
  • Mechanical testing: tensile, yield, elongation, hardness and toughness
  • Chemical analysis, including Carbon Equivalent (Ceq) values
  • Coating inspection: surface preparation grade, dry film thickness, adherence and porosity control (electric holiday detector / wet sponge)
  • Each shipment is documented by a delivery note with traceability confirming the product has successfully passed quality testing

Products & Capabilities

From mill to finished product, equipped and ready for driving

For spiral fabrication, coil widths between 1200 and 2500 mm can be used. Tandem welding and laser weld-seam guidance allow lengths over 60 m without a circular weld. For dolphins, cans obtained by rolling thick, high-yield plate are longitudinally welded and spliced to the required length. On request, the top section can be coated and fitted to receive mooring fenders. For hard-to-access sites, length production can be carried out using spiral pipe, optimising customs duties and supporting local employment.

Welding works inside a pile

Welding works

Shoes, reinforcements, anchor rings, drilling rings… Foot plates, reinforcing plates at points of maximum bending moment, welded flats for concrete anchoring, drilling rings welded to feet for rock drilling — inspected by dye penetrant or magnetic particle.

On-site fabrication, Bragny worksite

On-site manufacture

For hard-to-access locations, length production can be carried out using spiral pipe, optimising customs duties and supporting local employment.
